Custom Transitions

When it comes to transitioning from one floor to another, most of the store bought transitions can be a real eye sore! This is why we offer custom-made transitions to fit those spots the best without them being to noticeable or too big! There are a ton of transitions that are used for many different reasons, here are a few examples of the most common transitions used; The stair nose, this one is usually used at the top of stairs giving it a nice round finished look that is flush with the flooring at the top; the next one is like a ramp called 3/4 to 0 reducers, these are mainly for doorways when one floor ends then drops lower than the other floor; the other most common ones are t-molds or flat transitions, these are for when 2 different floors meet together that are the same height. You might be thinking well why can’t you just buy them at your local big box store but as mentioned above a lot of those end up being a real eye sore, they usually stick up way to high or too wide! When buying our custom-made transitions we come out to take a look at the area, do some measuring and then we customize them to fit the area until its the perfect fit! Alot of times you won’t even notice them after we are done!! We try to get the same material that you have as you do flooring then stain them to match so they blend in perfectly!
